MY SKETCHES:
Learned from Edgar Degas implied lines. Edgar Degas uses a lot of implied lines in his drawings - especially of ballerinas. He depicts their moods not necessarily by using their facial features, they can even be looking down, but through their body language, positions, and direction they are facing. I love the blurred lines he uses, it romanticizes the art. My first sketch is inspired by Edgar Degas - using blurred lines and implied lines to represent lashes & a teardrop. This is my first attempt at sketching- so I am not very good but implied lines is my favorite right now since I can use them to get my ideas across without being more advanced.
