What is spirituality?

Spirituality can be considered the opposite of religious. Someone who believes in a spiritual realm, perhaps spirits themselves, and something "out there" without a name. The importance of discerning between religion and spirituality is that religion has been something that has often been imposed harshly in Western society and often depicted as a judgemental male, which is the complete opposite of the truth. Spirituality can be considered rebellious in that sense, choosing love as a form of teacher as opposed to fear. The divine is so loving and truly, is neither male nor female, nor does it have a name.
